Acceptable Use Policy
What you can and can't do on Roov.
This page is a working draft — the substance is what the product does today, but the final wording is pending review. Contact support@roov.africa if anything here contradicts what you were told in-app.
The short version
Use Roov to find, list, and rent apartments in good faith. Don't use it to scam, harass, or break the law.
Prohibited conduct
Listing properties you don't have the legal right to rent out.
Materially misrepresenting a property — wrong photos, wrong address, wrong price, wrong size.
Asking anyone to pay outside Roov to circumvent the platform's service fee or protection features.
Sending abusive, threatening, hateful, or harassing messages.
Impersonating another person, business, or Roov staff.
Uploading content that infringes someone else's copyright, trademark, or other rights.
Attempting to access another user's account, or trying to break Roov's security controls.
Scraping the site or apps at a scale that impacts service for other users.
Using Roov to launder money or facilitate any other illegal activity.
Filing repeated false reports about other users.
Creating multiple accounts to evade a suspension.

Enforcement
Depending on severity, the response may be a warning, content removal, temporary suspension, or permanent account termination. See the Account Suspension Policy.
